Female humping

Hi i currenlty have a 7 month felmale Labrador. She has been brought up around my mothers female labrador aged 6 months. Untill recently they have got on fine, but now my dog keeps humping the other. I though only male dogs did this? Is this normal ?

No, males are not the only ones who do this. The same thing happened with my friend's dog and mine. No, your dog is not bi. :) It is natural. Do not try to stop it. The dog humping the other one is simply saying it's the more dominant dog. This will end eventually, in about a year or two. However, the dog being humped may not be submissive, and they could get in a fight over it, but more than likely it won't be bad. Nothing to worry about. Hope this helped!
