Jumping

We have a 5 month old black lab puppy. She jumps continually how do we get her to stop? We have tried to push her down each time and she still jumps. also when playing frisbee we can not get her to stop jumping up to take the frisbee from our hands. What can we do?

For the jumping up when she jumps up you can either hold onto her paws and hold her away from you she will strugle but do not let go hold her paws away from you for a minute or two then let her go do this everytime she jumps up, or you can try ignoring her just stand still and look away from her, or you can tell her no and put her in a sit/stay for a few minutes. When she trys to take the frisbee tell her no make her sit and stay do not keep playing like nothing has happened or she will think shes to boss, so when she jumps for the frisbee tell her no then sit/stay then ask her to wait through the frisbee tehn let her go get it, it will take awhile for her to wait without you having to correct her be she will learn.
