Allergies????

We have a chocolate lab almost 18 months.  About three weeks ago we took her to the vet because of an ear infection which lead to be an allergy.  So they put her on ear drops, 3 pills a day and omega 3.  We went camping last weekend and brought her with us, but we forgot to bring her meds with us.  So she missed out on one full day of no meds at all.  So know it's one week later and her ear infection is back and some of her nipples look inflamed and she is losing chunks of hair fromher belly/nipple area?  Please help....is she dying?

I doubt she is dying.  She may need some expensive care to enjoy life again.  Get back with your vet.  If he doesn't find the correct treatment before too long, maybe get a second opinion.  The working dogs I  know best seldom have such troubles.  She is eating a commercial dog chow and little else?  Unfortunately, even breeders I would expect more of are less careful about their breeding stock.  I read on the net about people that have gone through a half dozen different chows before finding one their dog will tolerate.
