black loose stool

My 14 year old lab had a bowel movement today that was as black as coal and very runny. I dont know what to do for him. Do you think he's sick? He only ate half of his food this morning. But he drank two bowls of water. Please respond.

Doesn't sound good.  Most Labs, not eating is a serious symptom.  The black may be blood, it turns black if it is in the bowel very long.  Two bad symptoms.  I would see the vet tomorrow.  I hate to think what you might have to pay over the weekend even if you found one.
