hi my 7month old labrador weighs just under 70 pound and is just under 24 inches at the shoulder, will he grow much more and how do i know if he an english or american lab or field or show type

Most 7 month olds will continue to grow, perhaps even after a year, but at a much slower rate.  If his ankles are still quite knobby, the growth plates are still open, and you can expect more growth than if they have smoothed out.  How big a dog gets largely depends on when it quits growing.

The type of Lab is best sorted out by its pedigree.  In general, the English Labs are shorter and stockier.  Field Labs tend to be taller and finer boned.  The American show Labs fall in between.
