Question
Karen,

Do you have any advice as to how I might stop my 9 month old Lab from chewing on everything.  I mean absolutely everything.  Thank you for your time.

Answer
Hello, According to all the experts, the best thing to do is when he starts chewing on something that he is not supposed to chew on, you shold take it away and scold him and relpace what he was chewing on with an appropriate chew toy.
Dogs chews to release excess energy, so you may want to increase his exercise activities. They also chew if their teeth hurt such as they are teething, which at 9 months may be the reason and they also chew because it is what they like to do. Patience and training and giving him plenty of chewtoys of his own is the best you can do.
Brightest Blessings
