Question
i have a female white lab and she was bred by a chocolate lab and she had 10 solid black puppies. we also have a neighbor that has a registered black lab but he is put up in a cage that he can not get out of unless he is let out.
can dogs have more than one father? please help me.

Answer
First of all, breeding a chocolate with a yellow/white, will result in puppies that are vulnerable to disease. PLEASE get your female spayed! Yes, puppies can have more than one father. More than likely, your female bred with the black male, as an all black litter is highly unlikely and very rare. Hope I could be of help!
