My lab is little

I have a 7 month old chocolate lab named Moose. He only weighs 31 pounds and is so little. He is the smallest lab I have ever seen. I work for a vet and they said that he probably won't get much bigger. What is your opinion on this?

I keep getting stuck with runts too. They still grow after 7 months, but it slows greatly. I notice the growth more since we have had an older dog in the house to compare the puppy to. I would guess your dog won't be much over 40 pounds if that big. I think my Holly was 39 pounds at 8 months and 43 at 9 months. You would think with 15 Labs, and a Shepherd, I would have had at least one that went over 70 pounds even kept lean and healthy.
