Question
iS IT OK TO LEAVE A DOG IN AN IGLOO HOUSE OUTSIDE IN THE oHIO AREA?  i KNOW IN THE 20'S HE SHOULD COME INSIDE, BUT WHAT ABOUT 30-25 DEGREES, WILL HE BE SAFE?  hOW DO YOU STOP THE INCESSANT BARKING?  wILL HE HANDLE BEING IN THE HOUSE WELL, IN A KITCHEN? SHOULD HE COME IN?  hOW WILL i TEACH HIM TO RING A BELL TO USE THE POTTY OUTSIDE?  wILL HE JUST NEED ROUTINE WALKS FOR THAT PURPOSE?

Answer
It is just shy a month of being 20 years since we put Jake to sleep.  We did without a dog for 6 years for several reasons including not wanting to get into the barking problem again.  Finally I found a program where there would be a good home waiting for a dog after we kept a Lab puppy for a year.  The instruction manual that came with it, said buy a crate.  We did, a 36'' Port a Pet.  With the dog in the house in the crate at night, or when we were away, all the problems we had with Jake disappeared.

Much of what you need to do to have the dog living in the house and being in a crate when nobody can watch it depends on how old the dog is.  Post back with that and other questions, and I will give specific answers.  I might add we have had a young Lab living in our house most of the time since 1991.  A crate is an essential part of making it work.  Once they get used to them, dogs love them.
