block head black lab

hi,
my family has a block-head black lab as a family pet and i believe that he is a pure bred lab.But he resembles a pitbull in his face. I was wondering if the "blockhead" breed had anything to do with cross breeding with a pitbull?

hello no it has nothing to do with cross breeding to pitbulls from what I know....blockheads are also called English labs the low labs are claled american labs and its the later of which I perfer. also a block labs heead has a higher forhead then any pitbull or pitbull typed dog out there. I have had people think my lab was a pitbull and shes an american.
