Question
I HAVE A ONE YEAR OLD CHOCOLATE LAB AND SHE HAS NOT HAD MORE THAN A DOZEN SOLID POOPS IN 3 MONTHS... HELP!!  SHE HAS BEEN TO THE VET MORE TIMES THEN I CAN COUNT AND HAS BEEN DEWORMED SEVERAL TIMES.  SHE HAS FASTED, ATE CHICKEN AND RICE FOR A MONTH AND NOTHING SEEMS TO WORK.  WHAT ELSE CAN WE TRY? SHE IS VERY VERY VERY ACTIVE (I MEAN SHE NEVER STOPS RUNNING AROUND AND GETTING INTO STUFF), HAPPY, AND HAS NO OTHER SYMPTOMS OTHER THEN THE SOFT STOOL. SHE DOES EAT THINGS SHE SOULDNT ALL THE TIME... LIKE DIRT FOR EXAMPLE AND WE ALSO THINK SHE MIGHT HAVE ALLERGIES BECAUSE HER EYES ARE ALWAYS WATERY AND RED.  THATS ALL THE INFO I CAN THINK OF BUT PLEASE HELP!

Answer
Has the vet suggested allergy testing?  It is expensive and sometimes inconclusive.

Try to limit her foraging.  When my Aster's brother was a pup. he was forever eating road apples and running at both ends.  I have had enough young labs that I am not flat out saying stop it.

What else is going on in your life?  Do you not need this on top of everything else?  If you are struggling, common today, your tension may be messing up her digestion.
