front leg limping

Question
Hi, we have a beautiful 9 month old black lab.  He is great in everyway, however since about 5 months of age, I think from jumping down from a bed,  he has been limping on his right front leg.  Doesn't seem to be sore to the touch.  He limps first thing in the morning and late at night.  Also after lying down for any lengthy period. I had given him Ibiprofen seemed to help, but read it's not good to give dogs.  Wondering if it could be a genetic problem, irritation from an injury?  We are not rich and can't afford the expensive vet bills to investigate, do you have any suggestions or answers.  What is the difference between front and back leg problems?
Thank you
Jackie

Answer
Dear Jackie,

For starters dont give him the drug any more. Also dont let him jump on the bed and off by himself, I am pretty sure thats whats causeing him to limp, so you either have to lift and carry him off the bed, or not let him on the bed at all, and see how it goes.
Good luck and tell me how it goes,
Amy
