Question
We have a three month old lab. He is very fussy about his eating habits and does not prefer a similar diet regime. We are not very sure of the changes in the diet, we would prefer the pup to be raised on a veg diet. We give him an egg a day, milk upto 250 gms and cereals. But he appears to be underweight.
Any suggestions!

Answer
Put the dog on a good commercial diet that is based on MEAT!!!!! YOU may be a vegetarian, but dogs are carnivores and need to eat meat to be healthy.  He's underweight because you are not feeding him correctly.  Puppies need to eat alot of protein to grow and be healthy, and if you continue a vegetarian diet for your dog, you will stunt his growth, not to mention probably his joints won't develop properly and could have orthopedic issues the rest of his life.
