Pregnant in early age.

Question
I have a female yellow Labrador aged 18 months.This is her first season and she got pregnant.Will it in any way harm her health or her puppies health?What should I do?

While that is earlier than most responsible breeders breed a dog, I have seen many fine dogs from mothers that young.  There is a lot you can do at the time of whelping to insure success.  I think you should work at learnign as much as you can about whelping and early puppy care.  A good place to start is http://www.woodhavenlabs.com/articles.html#breeding  You need to go on from there to some books.  Successful Dog Breeding, by Chris Walkowicz, DMV  would be good.
