what do you suggest as a food brand for my new lab puppy? and how many times a day do I feed him? he is 6 weeks old.

Hello, I reccomed Authority large breed puppy from petsmart if you dont have a petsmart in your state your out of luck tis made for petsmart, this food is very high quaility at a modest price my three dogs thrive very well on it the oldest two have eben on it for over a year now and the youngest for 7 months and they still enjoy eating this brand of food everyday. Other then that I reccomend a high quaility food that is amde for large breed puppies this is very inprotant in puppies that will be over 50 pounds at maturity as the food slows down there growth to aid in perventing hip and joint problems later in life very comman in labrador retreivers by the way, the dog will still end up the same siize and weight it was ment to be but it will take longer. Purian one or purina are the cheapest anyone would want to go for a large breed as this is the cheapest brands avlaible for large breed puppies, Nutro has some awseom products and I highly reccomend them. Technical and Nutreance are also high quaility. Feed him 4 times a day say once at 9 am, 12 pm, 3 pm and 6 pm cut off food and treats later then six or there will be a very big mess to clean up in the mroning whereever teh puppy in staying, make sure clean fresh(not dirty) water is avalible all teh time thou I persoanlly cut puppies water off after 7pm to pervent bed wetting.
