Question
Well Labman

Back in March I asked about adding a third lab to my current two lab family!  I have now done so!

My question is should I allow him (a 15 week old male Yellow Lab) to sleep in a kennel with my 17month old black lab female and my 9 month old chocolate lab male over night?

He is currently sleeping in a crate right next to them and still has mishaps from time to time.

Also should I leave him with the two other dogs in the kennel 8x8x5 while I'm at work 10 hours a day or leave him in his crate?
ps
Most days I come home at lunch to let them all out!

Again thanks, other than biting and playing all of the time all three seem to be getting along just great!

Thanks in advance!

Fred

Answer
I would keep them in separate crates.  One of the positives of a crate is that it reduces activity, allowing the dog top go longer without relief.  Put 2 young Labs in a crate together, and they will find room to carry on.  Also, if one decides it has had enough, it has no escape.
