Question
Sir my lab is five years old ,now she is not eating properly for the last two months ,sometimes alternate days she takes food .she is fond of milk and bread and readily accepts it any time and she seldom barks at intruders .agressive insticts are very less

Answer
Labs are not an aggressive breed, so you should not be expecting a hunting dog to be a dog that protects the home.  It's not a natural instinct in the breed.  As far as the eating, I would take the dog to the vet for a full work up to make sure it is healthy.  At 5 years of age, the dog is slowly nearing being a Senior, and this is when health problems can start.  It's best to rule out any health problems first, then if nothing is wrong, then you can look at why the dog isn't eating.  Maybe the food has spoiled (dry dog food has a shelf life and the oils can spoil) or it's possible the dog has tired of the flavor. If you feed chicken, try beef or lamb.
