Question
i have a labrador and i am just wondering what her weight should be she is 10 months old?

Answer
She should have most of her adult 55-65 pounds now.  Nobody can say what she should weigh, but it is easy to tell if her weight is right yourself.   Your dog definitely should be narrower at the waist than the hips and chest. You should be able to easily feel the ribs, but not see them.  Each dog is different.  Standard recommendations are a good place to start, but each dog must have its food and exercise adjusted to its individual needs. Here is a link to a good illustrated guide, http://www.longliveyourdog.com/twoplus/RateYourDog.aspx  It won't hurt to have your vet confirm your judgement the next time you are in.  Many Labs are over weight by that measure, and will live shorter lives.
