Labs Rash

Question
Our 1 year Chocolate Lab has a rash under his arm pits.  It is just a red dry area that seems to be itchy.  Is there anything that we can put on it to help clear it up or to prevent it in the future.

If most of a dog's calories come from a comercial dog chow, it is brushed regularly and it get infrequent if any baths, usually it will not have skin or coat problems.  If it does, it is best to let a vet determine the problem and prescribe an effective remedy.
