dog not eating

My female black lab is in heat and my male black lab does nothing but lay next to her kennel, wine and not eat. He hasn't eaten in 4 going on 5 days. He drinks water but that is it. Is this normal. What should I do?

This is sadly very normal its pitiful if you ask me, we had a male mini american escamo a few years backa dn still have the bichon/shit tuz(his "wife") and his daughter now 8 and 7 years old, he wouldn't eat/sleep or stop pawing or whinning at the dog she was behind even after thaey had mated several times, the only thing you can do is sit it out and wait til her cycle is for sure over.
