female & male labs together

Question
We have a yellow lab that is four months old. We would like to breed her when she is older. A friend of ours approached us and asked if we like her 8 month old male lab. We are considering this. However, my questions is, if we get this male lab (possibly to breed to our female later) should we keep their  quarters separate or can they be kept together? Thank you

you can keep all three dogs under the same roof but remmber the female needs careful watching....she Can get pregnant at her first cycle thou it would be overly draining on her and could possibly kill her. Its best to wait at the very very lest her second cycle thou third or better yet forth would be best.
