my dog has been flipping out

my dog has been flipping out he has been barking when ever we get far away and wont stop he has not been exited when i come home to school he also runs all over the house witch he never does its almost like he is in his own world what do i do

Perhaps since school started he is home by himself more?  He may need more time and attention.  Try to give him plenty of walks and play fetch with him.  It isn't good for a dog to be left by itself all day.  could you have a neighbor or professional dog walker give him a break?  Doggy daycare is great too.
