Question
How do you keep my dog from shedding so much? She is 4 yrs old. Do you feed her diferent types of food to stop this or slow it down? Thank you for your time.

If most of her calories are coming from a commercial dog chow tested using AAFCO methods, chances are a change in diet won't help.  A few dogs can use an extra table spoon of liquid cooking oil a day if they are being fed the cheapest brands.  

Best thing I have found is a wire toothed slicker brush.  Brush her several times a week.  Some people like the saw blade looking things, or the style that have big cone shaped rubber teeth.
