QuestionMy English golden lab Ollie is 12 months old and weighs 37kg. He gets plenty of exercise (2 x 2 hr walks a day) and is very lively. He was the largest in his litter and has always been stocky. jmmueI feed him as if he was a 30kg lab and he has NO TREATS. My vet says I need to get his weight down. What else can i do?
AnswerJust cut back a little on what your are feeding or increase the exercise he gets. Your dog definitely should be narrower at the waist than the hips and chest. You
should be able to easily feel the ribs, but not see them. Each dog is different.
