Weakness afterr spaying

QUESTION: I got my 14 months old  female lab spayed on 18 may 2010 . Just after 15 mins walk she becomes tired. Today , in the after noon when she was sleeping I saw muscle  or nerve ( I am not sure} twitching started from left hind limb to left forelimb to right eye.I want to know whether these are the signs of epilepsy and why she started felling tired.Thank you.

ANSWER: When did you get your dog spayed?  It's not May 18, 2010 yet.  Not sure why she is showing signs of being tired during the day.  You might want to have the vet check that.  

However, twitching during sleeping is dreaming not epilepsy.  While an epileptic seizure can happen when the dog is asleep, it's most likely dreaming.

Again, you might want to have the vet check the spay incision because there could be an infection that is causing the lethargy.

QUESTION: Thanks for your prompt answer. Sorry date of spaying was 18 march 2010. I want to know if there is any method through which I myself can find out whether her stitches got infected because outside stitches got dried off and the doctor who did the operation is in other city .I can go there after 10 June. Can I do something to make her comfortable. Thanks.

If the incision dried up and the stitches went away, then there was no infection.  You would have seen this immediately in the first 10 days, not 2 months later.  I said that thinking she was spayed in May.  When dogs are spayed, they also slow down a bit too.
