puppy waking to early

Hello, could you tell me how do dogs tell time , my lab knows when its six in the morning and she wants to get up she knows when her feed times are as well and when its time to go to bed , I am only asking as I would like her to sleep past six in the morning so I could sleep past six , If you could give me some advice that would be good thankyou

If the dog is very consistent, it may be getting a clue from something such as a coffee pot or light on a timer.  We once discovered our plant light was waking our puppy.  The plant had to make do with the light coming on later.  If it is a neighbor leaving for work, that is harder to fix.  Maybe move his crate to the far side of the house.  

Our Lab goes off any time between 4:30 and 5:45 when the alarm sounds.
