Question
Hi my male lab is 8 months old and 62 pounds, he has not been sprayed or
neutered, he is about 20 inches in height, i just feel he is short for his age
because he looks slightly small compared to other dogs, he is very healthy
and strong, just wanted to know till what age do they
grow, he is being fed royal canine dog food. Is there something i can do to
improve his height.

Answer
He should be near his adult height, at most, another inch.  They continue to grow even past their first year, but very slowly.  Compare his leg joints to your older labs.  If they are still knobby compared to theirs, the growth platers are still open, and he is still growing.

You can't do anything to increase his height.  You can keep him lean and give his joints time to develop.  Your dog definitely should be narrower at the waist than the hips and chest. You should be able to easily feel the ribs, but not see them. Each dog is different. Standard recommendations are a good place to start, but each dog must have its food and exercise adjusted to its individual needs.
