Do siberian huskies make good pets? And how long does the whining last when its a puppY?

Answer
Depends on what you are looking for in a pet.  Siberian huskies are stubborn, disobedient, intelligent, troublesome, hyper active dogs that completely have a mind of their own.  Most people who get a Siberian either would never get another one, or will have them for the rest of their lives because of those reasons.  So, you just have to understand what you are getting into and if that's what you want in a dog.

As for the whining, puppies whine for all sorts of reasons, and it may last for just a couple of minutes to an hour or two.  Most of the time, the puppy is whining because it is hungry or wants to play or have someone near, so it's not always just whining to whine.  Crate training can make for some difficult nights, but generally, whining in a crate, if the puppy has been fed, been able to go outside, and had plenty of play time, usually only lasts for a couple of minutes (10-20).
