Question
my son and I just received a 12 week old female husky. her eye color currently is lite brown with blue around the pupil. Both her parents have blue eyes, Is it possible that her eyes may still turn blue??  up to what age do the husky eyes still have the capability to change??

Answer
Usually with in the first year the pups eyes can change.  Usually, the change is to something darker than what they were born with, except in the case of blue eyes, which may lighten to a lighter blue, sometimes almost white.  Depending on how light the brown is and how the blue is mixed, this "parti-eye" may take over some of the eye and produce more of a blue color, but Siberian eye genetics are rather complex and sometimes difficult to predict.
