Husky eating habits

Question
I have an 8 month old Husky and we can hardly get her to eat.  We have 3 other dogs that eat heartily and she just picks at her food.  We are at our wits end!!  She seems in good weight, but she may go several days without eating more than 1 cup of food.  We feed premium kibble ( Timberwolf, Solid Gold) mixed with raw diet, but at this point we are adding anything to make her eat, including yougurt, pesto sauce, and any leftovers.  Is this normal?  She seems healthy, and she takes all treats readily.  Thank you!!

Answer
Huskies are know to limit their own food intake. I have 2 that are like this. It is absolutely normal. Usual when mine start getting like that it is because I have not exercized them enough. Huskies are good calorie counters and some will not eat more if they have not had the exercise to burn off the calories they are taking in. That is a awesome diet you have them on! Just check her teeth to be sure none are bugging her to rule that out as the problem. Another heath issue that might cause them to eat less, be sure her ainal glands are emptying, it is a fairly cheep thing for the vet to check if you don't know how. -Michelle B ^^
