2 dogs - same sex or one each?

19 18:00:19

Question
We're looking to have 2 goldens (instead of 1) this time.  Better to have both of same sex or is one male one female just as good?

Answer
Usually any 2 dogs get along fine.  The exceptions are most likely to be 2 females, with one of each the least common to be a problem.  The biggest problems are when you put 2 highly dominant dogs together.  It is recommended that the 2 be at least 6 months apart to insure they bond closer with the people and not so closely with each other.
