Tearing Sofa Cushion

We adopted a 10 month old male Golden for our  daughter  who  just lost her Golden to cancer.
Jake  has been left alone   for  20-30 minutes over  the past  week. Today  he ws left alone  for 90 minutes while my  wife, daughter  and I  went out for  Lunch. When I walked back into her house, I saw that  Jake had torn the  fabric off of one of the sofa  cushions,  and  form and stuffing  was on the  floor. How can we correct.

Hmm...this is a tricky one to solve. I would sujest that you should give him something to do while you are gone. Like give him a bone to chew on. If that doesnt do it, youll have to close of the way to the living room or wherever the sofas are. This will set his perimiters where he cant do damage. My dog used to do similar things when he was that age. Now he is 1 year old and he doesnt do that anymore no matter how long we are gone. Hope i helped atleast alittle bit.
