I want to get my dog fixed. she is 7 months old and she just went in heat. How long will she be in heat, so I can get her fixed?

Hello Rich!

Female dogs stay in heat for 3 weeks.  The first week going into heat, the second "in" heat, and the third is going out of heat. After that 3 weeks is over, it is safe for your dog to get spayed.

Before doing this, talk things over with your vet just to make sure the time is right to get your dog spayed!
