Question
how do you actually get your puppy to go to the bathroom outside my puppy is 3 months old he goes on his pads but how do you get him to actually go outside? and what age do puppies reach there full growth? Also how do you getyour puppy to listen to you?

Answer
I figure pads and newspapers only create problems.  You could try moving the pads outside.  Once the puppy is used to them being in one spot outside, take it to the spot without the pads.  If it still urinates, praise it.

The growth levels off at about 5 months when a puppy may have 80% of its adult size, but slowly continues to almost a year.

A puppy will listen better if you are top dog.  The key to most behavior problems is approaching things using the dog's natural instincts.  Dogs see all the people and dogs in the household as a pack with each having their own rank in the pack and a top dog.  Life is much easier if the 2 legged pack members outrank the 4 legged ones.  You can learn to play the role of top dog by reading some books or going to a good obedience class. A good obedience class or book is about you being top dog, not about rewarding standard commands with a treat. Start at http://www.dogsbestfriend.com/
