how do i teach my puppy to lifthis paw when i tell him to?

Answer
Do you mean like the common shake?  Try calling his name and shake holding your hand near him.  if he happens to raise hs paw, praise him.  If after several tries he doesn't raise his paw, try lifting it.  With a little time and patience, usually a puppy will learn quickly.
