Can I give my dog softened water?

Hi Danny -

  Can I give my dog softened water?

  I'd like to know about the
health ramifications of giving my dog softened, filtered water.  Someone
told me they found  it wasn't good because it removes all the minerals from the
water, but I drink it so I wondered if it's ok for my dog.

Thanks for your question. Well, personally I dont give mineral water to my dogs, but we have a filtered system. Where I live, they have little bowls that hook up to  the water....So I would say it is ok. But I am going to follow up onm this. I have contacted some people that know more abot bottled water that I do. If you could could u send me another email so I can reply
