HELP! My 9 week old golden, I think because I can't find it, swallowed the child prove cap to my medicine bottle. She is acting just fine but I am worried. It is after hours for my vet. I would appreciate any help as soon as possible. I am worried and It was a silly mistake. Ram

This could be a serious problem, but not one requiring a fast remedy.  You could call the vet when you can, but mainly keep a close eye on her calling the vet at any sign of digestive upset.  Sometime they throw up or pass foreign objects without a problem.  I would hate to admit all the things my Labs have managed to eat.  

Perhaps you have already called the vet.  I am sorry for my late answer.  We were out last night, our Lab puppy taking second of 7 in the dog guide puppy class in 4-H.  Our friend is the leader, and she recruits kids to touch up their obedience and show the puppies.  There were more questions than I could answer before bed time.
