Question
I have a 4 year old golden.  She is overweight so says my vet. How much should I be feeding her?  I presently feed in the am and in the pm for a total of 3-4 cups.  She is always hungry ... gulps down her food and rattles her bowl.  Is this normal?

Answer
goldens normally have weight problems and they should be fed about 2 cups in the morning around when you would have breakfast and when you would have dinner. yes it is very normal for goldens to eat a lot and act like they haven't eaten for days.    *hope i helped*
