Lost Interest in Bones

Hi
My 15 month old Golden Retriever, Tammy has lost interest in bones.

I used to give her raw marrow bones regularly but over the last few months she has lost interest in them.  Shw will pick up the bone and carry it around for a while and then drop it and ignore it.

She has always been a fussy (and not big) eater. I understands that bones are good for her, particularly her teeth.

Do you have any suggestions to spark her interest?

It sounds like Tammy is just not interested in bones right now. It could either be she doesn't like the bones you buy or that she gets them too often.

Alter the brand for now and she if she responds. Giving her a bone once a week may help as well.

As for her teeth, you can buy her biscuits and treats that have properties specifically designed for tartar control.
