golden retriver puppy w/ fur disorder

i am looking at taking in a golden retriever puppy but the only problem is that it has a fur disorder and we dont know what that could be. could you explain to me what that is?

As I said, I am not sure, but I don't like the sound of it.  Problems crop up even in the best breeding programs.  If you are looking for a companion and not a show dog, and the price is right, it might be OK.  However I would want to hear a lot of good answers from the breeder to some hard questions.  To help you know what questions to ask and what the answers should be, I am going to direct you to a web site hosted by a large lab breeder, http://www.woodhavenlabs.com/articles.html#breeding

I have ethical problems with directing you to another forum for answers, but the moderator at http://www.talkpets.com/forums/search.php?searchid=251201 is a quality breeder of Goldens.  He may know what the breeder is talking about.
