5ry old golden retriever biting

Our dog buddy is 5 yrs old and within the past 6 months has started taking things from the around the house he knows he should not take.  When you try get them back he shows teeth barks and snarls.  He bit me 2 weeks ago.  hetook the phone off the desk, I grabbed it away and hollered at him no, after i got the phone he came after me an bit hand.  My husband 2 days ago saw him take a pillow, hollered at him and the dog bit his hand.  We don'tknow what to do.  We love the dog, but at the same time cannot have this type of behavior.

well if you don't have him neutered then you should do that. if he still is showing this behavior then one thing you could do is get a dog kennel and overtime he even thinks about showing he teeth or growling you should take him to his kennel. or you could do the same thing only with a chain in the yard.    *hope i helped*
