New stubborn streak

Our 2 1/2  year old has developed a stubborn streak, while on a walk she wil just sit down and refuses to oninue. Wil only turn around and want to go home, any suggestions, reasons for this???

Like many behavior problems, this needs to start with a checkup up at the vets.  If she is having physical problems that reduce her ability to walk, they need to be taken care of.  

If there is no physical reason, look into if it is the same place every time.  What happens if you go in a different direction?  There could be something setting her off in a specific place.
