help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you have to help me! my cat is 14 years old. she has been throwing up and it looks like she is constipated because she will look like she is about to GO and she strains herself but nothing comes out! also  whenever we touch near her tailbone she whines!!!!! we have an appointment scheduled for the vet tonight! but can you give some advice on what to do or what this could be?! please help!

At age 14 your cat is geriatric.  Having a vet appointment is exactly the best thing you can do.  There are a number of things that could be wrong.  The vet needs to get to the root cause of the constipation.

Cure the constipation and the puking should stop.

It sounds like a bowel obstruction to me, but I am not a vet!

Please let me know what your vet finds.
