my cat(of course):-) behaviour problems

Question
Hi!
Thanks for taking the time to read this...
I've volunteered at a shelter and adopted a kitten that was brought there when only 2-3 weeks old. I bottle fed her (Novalee) and she grew into a big fat cat :-)
she used to be very playfull and I made the mistake of using my hands for her to play with.
Now she is 1 1/2 years old and often very aggressive. She never learned inhibited bite and uses full strength when striking me or anyone else that gets to close.. she hates her belly thouched(which i can understand) but if I try to get her off the table or out of the fridge she attacks..
do you have any idea what we can do to change her behaviour? I love her a lot but I'm also a little scarred of her, she's a strong kittie.

Thanks for your help.

Jenny:-)

Answer
HI Jenny,
well what i think you have done is,you may love your cat alot but i think you have let her get away things alot to.You have got to tell your cat when its time to come of the table, then its time to come of the table. You have got to start being abit more firmer with her.But when she does do somthink you tell her to do then stroke her and play with her as much as you can.
Hope this helps and good luck from Natasha.
