Question
Hello, I have a cat who has diarrhea, or sometimes just really loose stools.  Sometimes I have noticed a small amount of blood as well. He otherwise acts nomal; eating, drinking and active (he's 8 months old) .  He has had this problem for several days now.  Is there anything I can do for him at home?  What could be causing this, and should I just take him to my vet?  I have other cats in the household, and everyone else is just fine.  The cat in question is a Siamese, and I am not sure if the breed is more prone to problems. Any advice would be great!  Thanks!

Answer
I deffinatly would take him to the vet.  Blood is not good, no matter what the problem.  He may have a blockage, but only your vet can tell.  I don't think there is anything you can do at home, but I wouldn't wait to get it checked out.  They dehydrate easy from the diarreha.
