Question
I have a 7 month old cat and live in an apartment.  As is the drawback with most city apartments, we have to spray for roaches.  I haven't done this since we have had the cat and have spotted a few bugs near her food and water.  Any suggestions on what I can do to both keep my cat safe, and still kill the bugs?

Answer
lock the cat up in one room, like the bathroom, or bedroom, put its food, potty, and all its toys in the room with it, then spray the entire apartment except for that room, once the smell has gone or the spray is dry...(probably at least 24 hours) you can let the cat out, and take its food and other belongings out of that room, then spray that room and keep it shut off from the cat for the same amount of time.
