My cat puked blood when it died.

My cat just recently died.  When it was dying, it was puking blood, and breathing heavily.  I tried moving my cat, but it meowed in pain when i tried moving it.  my cat couldnt move cause each step would give it pain. she did not really move at all, but she would make these weird faces as she puked, but nothing came out.  hope you can help to figure out what was wrong with my cat when it died.  thanks and take care

I am sorry for your loss!!!!!

The best way to find out is by taking the cat to a vet for a necropsy.

Was the cat an indoor or outdoor cat?  Puking blood can be caused by internal injuries (like being hit by a car), or poisoning (like getting into certain types of plants poisonous to cats.

Without more information, I am at a loss!!!!!
