Question
We have 4 outside cats. I know they go to the bathroom in our yard, I've seen them. But they also go in our neighbots flower bed in their front yard. Our neighbors like cats she just doesn't like them going in their flower garden. She's tried sections of chicken wire around the flowers, she has tried a plant that is supposed to keep cats away and the last thing she's tried is moth balls. They just move them around when they cover up their duty. Help!! What can I do? I've thought about putting a litter box outside but I don't know where I'd put it where the rain wouldn't ruin it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Answer
There is a substance you can by....i think its a powder..maybe a spray... it keeps cats and other small animals away. it does not poison them , but creates a foul odor they dont like. it can be purchased at lowes or any hardware store. be careful and read the labels on things you look at. make sure you are not buying poison! you only want something to keep them from coming around..something that smells bad......if you dont want to risk that.....try oranges.......yup, cut them in half, and squeeze the juice out and put the oranges on the ground where you dont want them to go.....cats dont like citrus!
