eyes matted shut on my 2 week old kitten

can I put liquid tears in them or what else can I use????

First off, I am not a vet, but I would use a soft, warm, damp cloth to gently un-mat those eyes.  Then use an antibiotic like Tobradex ophthalmic, or whatever else your vet might recommend to treat the eyes. (Do not use any eye drops with Durafilm or any other steroid!!!!!) I expect there will be green gunk coming out when you get them open.  If the antibiotic does nothing after about 3 days, then you better consult with your vet, as it might be herpes which would require a much more aggressive treatment.

Please let me know what your vet says.
