Cats not eating

Question
I have two cats (One is 1 year old and the other is 8 years old). They both almost stopped eating. They bot stopped eating at the same time. I have tried other foods, and the older cat will eat one or two cat treats and the other will not even eat those. Besides the eating there seems to be no other behavioral changes.

Answer
It's possible they are not eating because they are not being fed the food they like.  As silly as that might sound, if you changed their food from something they were used to and liked to something they don't like, they could definitely be holding out.  Cats can be very finicky that way.  I'm mostly inclined to believe that is the case since both of your cats are not eating.  However, cats cannot go very long without eating or they develop more serious health problems so if it continues you should definitely take them to your vet for a physical to see if there are any medical issues that are causing both of them to stop eating.
